Shakespeare and Company Reviews

I ordered a couple of books from Shakespeare and Company online, and overall it went smoothly. The website was simple enough to figure out, and the confirmation email showed up right away, which was nice. I wasn’t totally sure about that at first, but it ended up being fine.
The only downside was the shipping took a few days longer than I thought it would. Still, the books arrived in great shape and were packed well. I’d order from them again, just probably not for anything I need in a hurry

They had a lot of books, and I was able to find most of what I was looking for. A few things were missing though, so it wasn’t quite... but overall, not bad...

I felt like the staff weren’t really interested in helping me. I was standing there waiting and felt pretty much ignored, which was frustrating. Personally, I wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back based on this experience.

The place has a really cool atmosphere, and I was excited to check it out, but it felt cramped the whole time. I get that busy spots can get packed, but it made the experience less enjoyable than I expected. I’d appreciate at least an apology or some acknowledgment, because it didn’t feel very comfortable.

Stopped in for a coffee and it was good. The place was a bit crowded when I went, so it may not be the best if you’re looking for somewhere super quiet, but I’d still recommend it if you’re nearby and just want a quick cafe stop

I ordered a book weeks ago, and the shipping has been painfully slow. The tracking barely updates, so am I supposed to just guess when it’s coming? I understand delays happen, but would it be that hard to provide clearer updates? It’s frustrating. I wouldn’t order from here again if I needed something by a certain date
